It is located in a high-risk area code of Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, FL. We target underprivileged children of all ages, youth, and senior citizens who reside in this community where many families live below the poverty level. We are committed to teaching and training, using music and the arts as an important part of our students’ overall development. We also organize recitals once or twice a year to showcase our students’ talent. |

About Our Music ProgramOur program is a tangible example of how the power of the arts encourages young people to be creative. At Making It Happen! School of Music and Technology, Inc., we seek to develop competent musicians of character in an environment of excellence, stability, and integrity. We continue to seek avenues to provide them with learning experiences, opportunities to contribute to their community, and ways to take responsibility for their own future. At the school, music training and instruction on a variety of instruments is our mission. We have also integrated Reading and Math instruction through music as a tutorial by way of computer technology.
